POSIBLE, CLFI empower ALS Center

Action.Able Inc. (POSIBLE) and J6W join Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI), the social responsibility arm of Cebuana Lhuillier, in launching its 89th Community Learning Center at Nicanor Garcia Elementary School (NGES) on February 24, 2020.

The partnership aims to support the chosen school’s Alternative Learning System (ALS) program, reaching out to out-of-school youth and adult learners. Mr. JG Puzon, CEO of POSIBLE, expresses excitement and sincerity in being one with CLFI in pursuing projects as such. “We are very happy to be part of this project. Right now, we are very focused on financial literacy and education. Naniniwala kami na kapag ang ating mga kabataan ay equipped ng basic education, they can now jump into more things especially now in our digital economy, in our digital world,” said Puzon.

“We would like to thank the Cebuana team because we were given an opportunity to be of assistance even in our own small ways. We believe that this program will give lots of opportunities to the people living nearby so they can be more productive and contribute more to society,” he added.

CLFI Executive Director, Mr. Jonathan Batangan emphasizes that the project only reflects their President and CEO’s advocacy. “CLFI carries our President and CEO, Jean Henri Lhuillier’s advocacy- ALS: Always Love Schooling, and for us this is what ALS stands for. We believe that this partnership will open many doors of opportunities for our ALS Learners.” said Batangan.

In the same way, NGES’s principal Ms. Elsa Soliva, on behalf of the ALS mobile teachers, conveys how meaningful the project is for the school, most especially for the learners saying, “Maraming salamat sa POSIBLE, J6W at CLFI dahil napili ninyong maging beneficiary ang aming paaralan. Ang partnership na ito ay napakahalaga sa amin lalo na sa mga ALS Learners – dahil sa inyong mga donasyon, mas mapapagaan ang pagtuturo ng ALS Mobile Teacher at magiging mabisa ito sa pagdagdag ng kaalaman sa aming mga ALS Learners.”

The partnership further aims to strongly support the ALS program and to bring in Financial Literacy activities for teachers and learners at NGES.
